Return line filter element  refers to a type of filter that is common in open loop applications.
They serves the function of filtering the fluid before it flowing back to the hydraulic reservoir.
The essential function of a return line filter is to filter the fluid before it returns to the hydraulic reservoir.
There are several contaminants presents in your fluids which can hurt the fluid performance.
Some of these contaminants are small in size to be seen by the naked eye.
